In SharePoint 2013 Office 365, this solution does not work.  It does show on the ribbon, but selecting the anonymous icon returns the error, Web Part Error: an error has occured.

Yes, it's not build for SP2013. But I plan to publish an App soon.

Hi, Has there been any progress on this one? Would love to use it for Office 365 (Wave 15).

Roger,
It's been updated for 2013 (note title: Office 365 Anonymous Access / SharePoint 2013 Sandbox Solution). It can be activated but there still seem to be a few bugs.

Solution activated fine for 2013 but when I tried to press the button “Anonymous Access“ in the ribbon interface under “List Tools” and “List” I got
Web Part Error: Sandboxed code execution request failed. Correlation ID: d6231a9c-acb4-3015-050c-2d6535c6f0bf.

ivinsky,
I think there's a lag time before sandbox solutions take effect. I got that error initially but after a while it went away.

How long did you wait? I installed this solution to my site(plan E1) several days ago and it still doesn't work. Today I installed this solution to my client's site (plan P1) and it still doesn't work.

Not that long - but I guess it depends how quickly Sharepoint processes changes and how much caching is going on. Maybe try deactivating and reactivating..

Thank you for replying. We tested this solution. It looks like it works for a public site plan E1 and doesn't work for a Team Site and for a public site plan P1. You can find more details here

I still could not activate this solution on my office 365 (Small business abonnement). I got the message 'Could not validate the solution'

It only works with O365 plans if you have the SP admin page where you can allocate resources. Msft keeps changing plans so I'm not sure which plans include that anymore.
